Material Overview

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a flexible and elastic 3D printing material known for its excellent abrasion resistance, impact strength, and rubber-like behavior. It combines flexibility with durability, allowing printed parts to bend, stretch, and compress without breaking.

TPU offers strong layer adhesion and high resistance to oils, greases, and many chemicals, making it suitable for functional applications. It also provides good vibration damping and shock absorption properties.

This material is ideal for printing flexible components such as seals, gaskets, protective covers, phone cases, and wearable parts. Due to its softness, TPU requires slower print speeds and careful filament feeding, especially on Bowden systems.
