Material Overview

ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) is an advanced thermoplastic material similar to ABS, but with significantly improved weather and UV resistance. It is specifically designed for outdoor applications where long-term exposure to sunlight and environmental conditions is required.

ASA combines high strength, impact resistance, and thermal stability with excellent resistance to UV radiation, moisture, and chemicals. Unlike ABS, it does not yellow or degrade under sunlight, maintaining its color and mechanical properties over time.

This makes ASA an ideal choice for outdoor components such as housings, automotive parts, garden equipment, and functional prototypes that must withstand harsh environments. Like ABS, it benefits from controlled printing conditions and performs best in enclosed printers.
